For recipients who are employed, a skills assessment requires no personal financial investment :

Your skills assessment can be funded by your employer, as part of the Plan de Formation (Training Plan).

  • You will need to contact the Human Resources Department of your company in order to request funding for your assessment and leave of absence for appointments at our agency.

  • We will then plan together a provisional schedule of appointments, as well as an estimate, which will require a tripartite agreement between your employer, our agency and yourself.

  • The assessment may begin.

Your skills assessment may also be funded by your OPACIF (joint collecting organization authorized for individual training leave, for example the "FONGECIF"), as part of a "congé bilan de compétences" (skills assessment leave).

  • Our agency has been approved by the main OPACIF bodies within the PACA region.
  • In this case, you have two options : you may undertake your skills assessment outside of working hours, or during working hours.

To undertake your assessment outside of working hours

(You do not have to inform your employer of

your intention to undertake an assessment).

  • Contact your OPACIF to request a “dossier de prise en charge” (funding application form) for your assessment (around two months prior to the assessment’s expected starting date).
  • Contact us so that we may fill in the application form, provide an estimate, as well as a provisional schedule of appointments.
  • When you receive the funding approval from your OPACIF, send it to us so that we may sign a tripartite agreement between your OPACIF, our agency and yourself.
  • The assessment may begin.

To undertake your assessment during working hours

(In this case, you must inform your employer of your intention to undertake an assessment).

  • Contact your OPACIF to request a “dossier de prise en charge” (funding application form) for your assessment, and your employer to request a leave of absence for the appointments with our agency (around two months prior to the assessment’s expected starting date).
  • Contact us so that we may fill in the application form, provide an estimate, as well as a provisional schedule of appointments.
  • When you receive the funding approval from your OPACIF, as well as the authorization for absences from your employer, send them to us so that we may sign a tripartite agreement between your OPACIF, our agency and yourself.
  • The assessment may begin.

Criteria for entitlement to the skills assessment

  • For employees on a CDI contract (open-ended), you must have been a salaried employee for at least 5 years (excluding internships), including 12 months with your current company.
  • For employees on a CDD contract (fixed-term), you must have been a salaried employee for at least 24 months within the last 5 years, including 4 months in a CDD contract within the past 12 months. The CDD contract must have ended at the time of sending your application. The most recent company determines the OPACIF which will fund your assessment.
